In collaboration with those who shape space—homeowners, architects, designers, and builders—we create bespoke carved works that speak to place and story. Each piece is born of careful listening and crafted with reverence, becoming a lasting expression of the lives and landscapes it’s shaped by.

  • 1. Discovery & Inspiration
    Begin with a conversation. Together, we explore the story, purpose, and architectural context of your piece — including dimensions, themes, materials, and emotional tone. This shared dialogue sets the foundation for a design that’s personal, meaningful, and creatively led.

    2. Concept & Design
    Ideas take form through sketches and concept renderings. While collaboration is key, the design process is guided by my artistic intuition and experience.
    A design fee applies and is credited toward the final commission..

    3. Approval & Planning
    Final drawings, materials, timeline, and cost are presented. With your approval and deposit, the project is scheduled for production.

    4. Craftsmanship
    Your piece is brought to life using traditional carving techniques and premium materials. Progress updates are shared along the way. Minor refinements may be accommodated, while preserving the integrity of the original design.

    5. Finishing & Delivery
    The completed work is meticulously finished, safely packaged, and shipped with care. Installation guidance is provided to ensure a seamless fit within its space.

    6. Legacy & Care
    Crafted to last, each piece includes care recommendations and ongoing support — to protect its beauty and presence for years to come.

Bespoke Legacy Sculpture

To commission a memorial sculpture is to entrust your stories and memories to an artist who translates them into form. You don’t need to provide sketches or visual direction—the design emerges naturally from the qualities, symbols, and feelings you share. Throughout the process, I’ll guide you step by step.

    • Conversation – We begin with a personal exchange. You may wish to honour a loved one who has passed, or to create a legacy piece for yourself to leave behind. Through stories and reflections, the essence of the person is gathered.

    • Interpretation – From these insights, I shape the concept and design, allowing the sculpture to take on a form that feels true in spirit and meaning.

    • Carving – The piece is hand-carved with care and intention, incorporating symbolic details and, if desired, a discreet vessel for ashes.

    • Completion – The finished work is delivered as a timeless legacy—an artwork that embodies memory & meaning.

    • Budget & Payment

      To help set a budget, each commission is discussed individually based on size, detail, and materials. A 50% deposit is requested to begin the process, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

    • Each commission typically takes 2–4 months, depending on size and complexity.
