Creemore Village Green
Place Identity Work · Ontario
Developed for the heart of the village, this landmark piece draws inspiration from Creemore's agricultural, railway, and industrial heritage. Conceived as a gathering point and marker of place, the work connects community, memory, and landscape through sculptural form.
Origin
The project emerged from a desire to create more than an entrance marker. Local history, industry, and the character of the village informed a composition intended to feel both rooted and enduring.
Developed through drawing, research, and collaboration, the work combines carved and fabricated elements into a single sculptural statement. Each component was shaped to contribute to a larger narrative of place and identity.
