Origin
Conceived as a response to the quiet authority of the owl, the work explores observation, patience, and the subtle connection between stillness and awareness.
Making
Carved from basswood, the form emerged gradually through refinement and reduction, allowing the essential character of the owl to reveal itself through proportion, surface, and light.
